16 years old on sailing around the world mission is missing

Abby Sunderland, the 16 years old girl who was on the mission to sail around the world, has been missed. The teen girl is from California and wanted to set a record being the youngest person to do this task. According to the latest reports, Abby is missing somewhere between Africa and Australia.

She has not been in contact with her family, as she lost the communication from this Thursday when Sunderland was sailing on the Southern Indian ocean. Her brother told to the media that she was sailing into a storm at that time when we communicated with her for the last time and her emergency beacon locating device was activated.

All of a sudden, the satellite signal dropped and lost and the family could not establish it again even after the storm was over. They tried to reach her on the mobile, but that was also not working at all. Abby Sunderland gave the danger signal twice.

Zac Sunderland mentioned to the press that if the boat had been flipped, she would be protected because it had water-tight compartments. Before the age of 17, he had sailed across the world as well.

Abby is missing on a 40 feet orange and yellow racing yacht named ‘Wild Eyes’. On January 23rd, she had started her journey from Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles and many sailors warned her of the devastating storm in Indian ocean but she was determined and being experienced went ahead with the job.

The search process has started and everyone is hoping to see her alive and accomplishing her mission safely.
