The karate Kid is basically a martial arts sequel film of the 1984 film of same name. It has been released on 11th June in United States and China. In Japan and China the Karate Kid entitled as “The Kung Fu Kid” while in South Korea the movie released with the name “Best Kid”. The sequel of 2010 Karate Kid is directed by Harald Zwart under the production supervision of Will Smith. However basic concept and the story line of the sequel is almost remains the same with little bit of modification. The legend Jackie Chan plays lead role in the film along with super stars Jaden Smith and Taraji P. Henson. Most of the part of this film was performed in Beijing, China. James Horner gave music in the film.

Story of the movie circulates around a 12-years-old school boy Dre Parker’s (Jaden smith) who lost his dad. His mom (Taraji Henson) becomes widow and move from Detroit to Beijing for better career. At first Dre didn’t feel comfortable with the new place where he is unfamiliar with the language, customs and chopsticks. However he makes one enemy who continuously terrorize him with his kung fu and karate skills. Jackie Chan who is known as Mr. Han in the film rescues Dre and began to train him so that he will be able to face his enemy. He began to train Dre in the ancient art and prepared him to compete against his foe in the certified tournament.
