Who’s behind Sharron Angle?

Sharron Angle, who had very bleak chances of winning the Republican Primary of Nevada, has been nominated to take on Democratic Sen. Harry Reid in November. Two months ago, No body could even imagine that Sharron Angle will grab the nomination because she was having problems with the strength of her election campaign as no body was paying any heed towards her campaign.

Then ‘Tea Party Express’ changed the whole complexion of the game. Tea Party Express is a group which is run by Republicans in California. The group decided to invest its resources on Sharron Angle in order to forward its own agenda.

The Tea Party Express announced its support for Sharron Angle in Washington D.C. at a Tax Day conference which enjoyed extensive media coverage. This led to media hype of Tea Party Express favoring Sharron Angle. When Tea Party Express threw its weight behind Angle, everybody’s perception towards Angle dramatically changed. “When the Tea Party Express endorsed her, everybody took a second look,” said Larry Hart, a campaign consultant for Angle while talking to The Daily Caller.

According to media reports, the Tea Party endorsement filled a new spirit in to Sharron’s campaign. All credit goes to TPX for boosting the dynamics of Sharron’s campaign. Angle defeated ‘an apple of establishment’s eye’: Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian Tuesday night.

Now Sharron Angle will take on Harry Reid in November. Although there is a pivotal role of Tea Party Express in the successful campaign of Angle yet TPX is reluctant to take any credit. They are of the view that they did not create Sharron Angle as she was already a ‘one-person tea party’ before she transformed in to a ‘Tea Party movement’.
