He shot to fame with a popular show, ‘Family Matters’ in which he played the role of Steve Urkel. The 1990s sitcom really added spices to his career.

Born on November 27th 1976 in Pasadena, Jaleel is an American actor cum screenwriter. He was the voice behind the character of Sonic the Hedgehog and some other characters of Sonic the Hedgehog media. The first assignment came his way when he was just three years old and that was a commercial for Kellogg’s. The first role was of the son of Flip Wilson and Gladys Knight on the CBS series ‘Charlie and Company’.
