Jerry Brown expeceted to be California’s Governor

According to media, tonight is the most crucial night for Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman. Both are running for the seat of Governor of California. The results will be made public on 9 pm PST. Jerry’s victory is being overwhelmingly anticipated because he is in the lead with almost 83% votes.

The expected victory of Jerry Brown has surprised people as well as media who were not expecting a lead with such a great margin. Jerry Brown’s lead is stunning and unprecedented as far as other Democrats are concerned because no other Democrat has earned that much votes in the elections.

Meg Whitman got 64.7% votes and Poizner earned only 26% votes. On the other hand, there is stiff competition between Bill Emmerson and Matt Monica. Bill Emmerson is in the lead in
District 37 with 56.5% as compare to Matt Monica who got 32.4%. In district 43, Sunder Ramani has attained 46% votes against Mike Gatto who has attained 53.7% of the total votes.

As far as Jerry Brown’s biography is concerned, he was born on April 7, 1938. He is working as the Attorney General. Brown has a long political career but one thing about him is clear that he is one of those leaders who remained honest and had great self-respect. He was elected as the 34th Governor of California in 1974. Jerry Brown grew up in San Francisco, California and did his graduation from St. Ignatius High School in 1955. His political career is transparent and he always maintained fair policies rather than protecting vested interests. He also advocated the California Fair Political Practices Act.
