Carly Fiorina has been elected as the Republican candidate for the Senate seat of California as she has won the primary, according to the results. She is a well-known personality of the state being a former CEO of a computer giant HP and considered as one of the richest women of the state. As she has won the first step towards the Senate seat, now she is positively looking forward for the next and final step which is election of November.

Carly Fiorina will be facing Barbara Boxer, Democratic nominee for the same seat in the upcoming election. It will not be an easy task for any of these two ladies to win over other as political experts are in a view that the election of November is going to be toughest one in California’s history as both the ladies have strongly won their primaries and it will be definitely a contest to see.

Talking about the Republican nominee for the Senate seat of California, Carly Fiorina is considered as one of the wealthy business women of the state as around USD $5.5 were spent by her during her primary campaign and she beat comparatively strong candidates like Chuck DeVore R-Irvin and Tom Campbell (Republican of South Bay) to win this nomination of the Republican Party.

Carly Fiorina is strongly against the same sex marriage and abortion rights so sentiments of the anti gay-marriage and the groups of anti-abortion will definitely support her in the November election. She is also against the climate change law of the state. So it is really going to be tough contest for the seat.
