England vs USA World Cup 2010, preview

England Vs USA World Cup 2010 match is but a bid from Bob Bradley to rewrite the American Revolutionary War (as the match between U.S and England is dubbed) in first of the Group C match on Day 2 of the World Cup.

Every American is adjusting its time clock to synchronize it with the match time but sports pundits are of the view that England would easily fend off Americans.

It is speculated the success of the U.S team rests on the strategy of Bob Bradley that how he uses Jozy Altidore, Herculez Gomez and Edson Buddle. Nonetheless U.S defense has a flaw and fitness may be a cause, the real culprit is poor organization.

Americans may create excitement by their fast speed but they would find it hard to tear through the Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard defense.

It could be nothing but reenactment of the warm up match between the two.

John Terry would be the player to watch lined up with Ledley King who has replaced injured captain Ferdinand and Terry would lead the English defense against speedy Americans.

On the American side, Tim Howard would be the player of interest as he is world class goalkeeper but he will have to find extra talent and experience to shun off English scorers,

if he fails to do so then U.S would not be able to tally enough goals to keep up and predictions are a win for England at 3-1. Let us wait for another 120 minutes and there would be an enactment of American Revolutionary War against England.
